Gilbreath Cemetery

Gilbreath is a small, older cemetery located on the Nesmith Rd on the Marshall/Blount county line. It is less than 1/4 mile off of Blount Co Rd 25. Some gravestones are getting harder to read. While there is plenty of room, many footstones are nearly on top of another's headstone. There also appear to be several replacement stones.

**Additional Comments: The broken tombstone for Sarah Elizabeth Johnson is lying down, and fairly near the unbroken one. Near this are several small, unmarked stones, with corresponding footstones. The footstones are all lying down neatly and bear the following initials: PJ; TFJ; SEJ; JJ; & SJ.
