This indenture made and entered into this twenty ninth day of December
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four
between Philip D. Clack and Mary his wife of the first part and Nipper
Hood of the second part witnefseth that the said Philip D. Clack and
Mary for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars to
them in had paid by the said Nipper Hood the receipt thereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do
grant bargain and sell unto the said Nipper Hood the following tract or
parcel of Lands To wit the East half of the South East quarter of
Section six in Township Eleven of Range one East and also the West half
of the South East quarter of Section six in the aforesaid Township
except such portion of the aforementioned lands as have been conveyed
by
deed to Joel Reed situate lying and being in Blount County in the State
of Alabama to have and to hold the same with the acception aforesaid
unto the said Nipper Hood his heirs and assigns forever and the said
Philip and Mary the aforesaid lands and apertenances hereby conveyed
unto the said Nipper Hood will warrant and forever defend in Tesitmony
whereof they have hereunto affixed their Hands and seals this date
above

Personally appeared before me Mace T. P. Brindley Clerk of the county
court of said County the above named Philip D. Clack who acknowledged
that he signed sealed and delivered the foregoing and on the day and
year therein mentioned to the afforesaid Nipper Hood. Appeared also
before me the above named Mary A. Clack who on private examination
apart
from her husband acknowledged that she signed sealed and delivered said
deed to the said Nipper Hood as her voluntary act and did freely
without
any fear threats or compulsion of her husband and on the day and year
of
its date. Given under my hand and seal of Office at office this tenth
day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and thirty
five.
