Owen Fendley, 27, son of Mr. And Mrs. Monroe Findley of Oneonta was killed Thursday night by an L & N train near Inland. Fendley’s Automobile was found parked on the side road only a short distance from the railroad right of way. It is not know what time the accident occurred as the body was not discovered until sometime Friday morning. A veteran of world war II Fendley is said to have been in ill health since his discharge and had spent some time in a veteran’s hospital. Besides his parents he is survived by several brothers.
