Old Munising Hospital constructed in 1910 at the south end of Maple Street, a modern red brick structure three stories tall (nurses lived on the top floor) with an operating room, and x-ray equipment. Top technology in its time. It closed in 1961 when the present Munising Memorial Hospital opened in East Munising along the lakeshore.
