Trenary

Trenary was, and is today, a farm town in Mathias Township. In 1924, it had three stores (Holmquist, Davis, and the Farmers Coop), two churches (Catholic and Methodist), three bars (Maki's, Trenary Tavern and Herbs), a creamery, three gas stations, several garages, a post office, a movie theater (the Opera House), bakery, bank and a school.
