Known for its scenic beauty, big snow, its waterfalls and mines, Gogebic is the westernmost county in Michigan's beautiful upper peninsula, and is bordered by the state of Wisconsin on the south and west sides. Northward lies Lake Superior and Ontonagon County.  Iron County, Michigan is to the east.
